Ten\u00eda solo 59 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Wilkes, quien deja atr\u00e1s a una esposa de m\u00e1s de 40 a\u00f1os llamada Cathy, comenz\u00f3 a luchar en 1988 y tuvo carreras con WWE, WCW, AWA, promociones en Jap\u00f3n y m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9l es un ex dos veces Campe\u00f3n Mundial de Parejas de la WCW junto a Marcus Bagwell y ex Campe\u00f3n Mundial de Parejas de la AWA con  D.J. Peterson. Wilkes luch\u00f3 por \u00faltima vez para la WWE en octubre de 1997, perdiendo ante Jim Neidhart en Shotgun Saturday Night. Fue luego liberado a principios de 1998.<\/p>\n<p>Wilkes se retir\u00f3 de la lucha libre profesional despu\u00e9s de dejar la WWE debido a una lesi\u00f3n en los tr\u00edceps.
